Welcome to TikSave. By downloading, installing, or using the TikSave applications (for macOS, Windows, or Android) ("the Software"), or visiting the TikSave website ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Description of Service
TikSave is an open-source, local software utility suite for macOS, Windows, and Android that allows users to download media files (videos and audio clips) from the TikTok platform. The Software is designed to run entirely locally on the user's computer or device, performing connections directly between the user's system and TikTok's servers.
2. License & Open Source
The Software is distributed under an open-source license. You are permitted to use, copy, modify, and distribute the source code in accordance with the terms of the repository license hosted at github.com/miftahganzz/TikSave. All modifications or contributions are welcome through standard repository forks and pull requests.
3. Proper & Authorized Use
By utilizing TikSave, you agree that you will only download content for which you have the legal right or permission from the original creator, or for your own personal, educational, non-commercial archiving purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your actions comply with your local laws and the copyright standards applicable to the media you access.
Prohibited Activities: You may not use TikSave to download copyright-protected media with the intention of re-distributing, selling, commercializing, or claiming ownership of such works without express written consent from the content owner.
4. Third-Party Trademarks & Services
"TikTok" is a registered trademark of ByteDance Ltd. TikSave is an independent open-source tool and is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with TikTok, ByteDance Ltd, or any of their subsidiaries.
The Software interacts with TikTok's public APIs and contents. Changes in TikTok's platform, terms of service, or API configurations may impact, limit, or disable the functionality of the Software. TikSave makes no guarantees regarding the continuous availability of download methods.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
